Kirby Pines {Manor}

On Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 10:15 am, we will be visiting and making new friends with the residents of Kirby Pines. We have been told one of the things they like most is music. We will do our best to bring a joyful noise and pray it will be a sweet, sweet, sound to their ear.

Kirby Pines is located at 3535 Kirby Road, Memphis, TN 38115.

kirbyMusic can put pep in your step and joy in your heart.

We would like to take a minute to shine the spotlight on one of our very own members, Tan Collier Tabb. Tan is a mixed media artist and she is on the move. On Friday, February 5th, Tan will be the first exhibit artist for the grand opening of WEBZ Art Gallery and gift shop, located at 185 N Main in Collierville, TN. It would be great if all members would show up and show their support for what God is doing in Tan's life. Wear your best green and gold outfit and come out and let your light shine bright for Tan.

Red Nose Day Fun

The Active Heart and Hands of Jesus will get seriously silly in support of Red Nose Day. We ask that you will get seriously silly also. Go to Walgreens and buy a red nose for you and your friends. The red nose you buy will help support multiple charities in both the U.S. and abroad. In 2015 over $23 million was raised to help fight kids’ poverty. The red nose only cost $1.00. One dollar can make a big difference, and so can you. Buy that nose and join us in our first weekly challenge. Take a pic of you and your mother or you and your children on Mother’s Day. Email your picture to pamsimmons@theactiveheartandhandsofjesus.org or tag it to The Active Heart and Hands of Jesus Face Book page. We would love to post your pic. The second challenge is on Thursday, May 26, the actual Red Nose Day. Take a picture of you and your coworkers wearing your red noses and having fun. Email them or tag them to our FB page. Let’s have fun and support the children at the same time. Children are a gift from God.
